kokomo

Dream: being by a beachside drinking tequila on a non-crowded beach, accompanied by the sun, gentle breeze, the salt in the air and a beautiful companion sharing the dream.

Reality: no where close to earning money and support myself, no beautiful companion, stuck in a urban jungle full of beastlike bastards.

Ways to achieve dream:
- Dream
- Play The Sims 2
- Ten years of hard work and sweat
- Strike lottery

Percentage of success to achieving dream: <0.567%

Currently: Sigh.

Aruba, Jamaica ooo I wanna take ya
Bermuda, Bahama come on pretty mama
Key Largo, Montego baby why don't we go

Jamaica off the Florida Keys
There's a place called Kokomo
That's where you wanna go to get away from it all

Bodies in the sand
Tropical drink melting in your hand
We'll be falling in love
To the rhythm of a steel drum band
Down in Kokomo
- Kokomo, Beach Boys

Old Days

Dang, now i get to say "Back in the old days..."

Why oh why am i getting old??? =p

Well honestly, back in the old days...

-toys were of better quality, case in point: the new transformer crappy quality optimus prime versus the good old rm118.90 Optimus prime back when i was a kid.
- Music didn't had a bunch of crappy r and b or rap or all that stuff where i just talk lyrics or digitally enhance my singing ability.
- Nasi Lemak big plate plus extra rice cost only Rm0.70.
-Lala-ness wasn't in fashion, people wear decently nice and hot.
-We can roam around the streets without fearing our safety.
- Cooler back then, not much global warming nonsense.
- I used to be much handsomer (muahaha)
-I got my bicycle!
- Playstation 1 was affordable and games cost like RM4!
- Arcade Rules!
- Which then follows by Street Fighter Rules!!

awww man, so many more wei... sigh
good ol days!

Tech Kills

I sincerely think as we grow older, time seems to fly by, news paper already advertising whats to come next month and the month after, we looking forward to movies coming out middle of the year, we looking forward to graduate, why?

Just as Lisa puts it in this BLOG POST

I agree that she says technology makes things go faster, everything must be snippity snappity do,
Fast, convenient, save time so can do more, by "saving" time, we actually have LESS time to do anything, right??

Think about it.

Screw tech, we should get down and go old school, let's start reading books instead of blogs, go, stop reading this blog.

O Egg

Well, been blog hopping a bit, and it seems everyone is blogging about the year 2008.

Well let me jump on the bandwagon and blog about it too then.

I hate new years, every end of the year i always reflect and look back on all the missed opportunities, the shortcomings, the times i failed God in so many different ways, it's just depressing and not very motivating to move on to a new year to repeat the same ol'.

But suffice to say, i think life's been pretty ok, God has been faithful, i thank Him a lot for family and friends who never left my side, well some friends did (be it physically or emotionally), nevertheless, as a good friend said "i've come to accept that friends come and go", so here is to a good 2008, hopefully not time wasted, and not a year going down the drain!"!"

I've realized a lot of things in the holidays, i tend to think a lot, and i have so much more potential! But then again, i like where i am, anyway, not to mope anymore, let us begin the new year!

Life Goes On, Embrace It!
