Breaking Down
sat LRT to masjid jamek and walked to dataran merdeka, pretty sight, a lot of lights! shining brightly in the night, only hoc mun brought camera, so he has the pics.
Well the emcee was lousy, trying to sound pro but ain't pro sounding he was.. pffttt... and always mentioning the sponsors a gazillion times, and the speeches were long and tedious and cliche!
Even the tourist there were restless, one woman laid back and raised her hand symboling a 'bird' sign in the 'bird paper stone' game, and opening the 'bird's' mouth and closing it, haha, it was funny, even the tourist know our speeches are long and pointless, all for show, no one pays attention!
Then the show came on,
it was....
disappointing!!
better go listen some drum solo by some random band, probably more entertaining,
yea yea, its cultural and stuff, but it's supposed to entertain!
Then they boasted bout the youngest conductor or something, and the fella is in the malaysia drums troupe, but that group was quite disorganized, they use everyday items as instrument
hmmm
wonder why that sound soooo familiar?
could it be some other PEOPLE did it and became damn famous?
The emcee kept mentioning that singapore is our neighboring country, repeatedly you know, but thailand they didn't mention that they are our nieghbor, seeing how we share border with them and with singapore we are separated by a river or something,,
even indonesia was mentioned as our neighboring country, poor thailand... we left halfway go mamak watch football a bit, more fun.
Come 2008! come!

Movie Buzz
Well, the show was alright, action movie, what did you expect?
I like the senseless merciless killing aptly done by the directors, no need think, just let the characters die.
Well, i was sitting beside two ladies, they were talking NON STOP!
Literally since i entered the cinema till the credits rolled, they were yapping yapping and more yapping, thankfully this movie was just all eye candy kinda show, if not i'd probably 'politely' ask them to shut their traps!
Real Life Examples from the movie and the women's conversation:
Predator vaporizes bodies to leave no trace:
-"OOhhh, Dia ni hapuskan bukti", "Ya kah? Ohhhh"
Predator hangs a body upside down:
-"Dia tergantung"
Women in movie scream for no reason:
-" AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Survivors climbing towards helicopter chased by Aliens:
-" Cepatlah naik helikopter! OOHH! EEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Every time alien jumps out from the ceiling (VERY PREDICTABLE):
-"ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (covers mouth)
Small kids killed:
-" ARGHHHHH!!! AMBOI, KESIAN!"
Yeap, thats the idea, followed by countless of obvious statements and actions which were so annoying, as i said, thankfully this show really just go to see for fun.
Funnily, people behind us were also as noisy, but spoke in different language or with heavy accent, laughed kau kau when girl gets slaughtered as collateral damage...
Man, people are sick in their minds.
I think i better go watch some South Park now..

Been Better!
phew
need a breather!
About prom ah, when got mood only blog ler hehehehehe
Meanwhile here's a joke,
THE CHEMISTRY OF HELL
The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington
chemistry mid-term. The answer by one student was so "profound" that the
professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course,
why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well.
Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic absorbs heat)?
Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas
cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant.
One student, however, wrote the following:
First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need
to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which
they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to
Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many
souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different Religions that exist in
the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member
of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of
these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we
can project that all souls go to Hell.
With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in
Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the
volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature
and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand
proportionately as souls are added.
This gives two possibilities:
1) If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter
Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell
breaks loose.
2) If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell,
then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.
So which is it?
If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year
that, "it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you," and take into
account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number 2 must be
true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen
over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it
follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore,
extinct...leaving only Heaven thereby proving the existence of a divine
being which explains why, last night, Teresa kept shouting "Oh my God."

The Day of Births
Why long since it only has 24 hours?
I don't know, doesn't make sense right?
How come humans don't make sense?
When we say short cut, how the cut is short?
Luke Skywalker to Sith Lord in a Yo Momma Contest:
Yo Momma's so stupid that she went to bangkok to buy a tiefighter!
Yo Momma's so stupid she spent all day saying "Am not" to R2!
I digress, big time.
So, mom celebrated her, erm, well, er..... 30th(?) birthday!
And our church Myanmar brother celebrated his 25th!
HE and his pallies made us another Myanmar cultural dish! If you remember my More Hinder
post back in May, a pun for another of their dish i name Mo-Hing-Kah, this time they brought another tribe's special dish - Shuen Cow Swear! (As close as i can spell it to be pronounced properly)
As simple as it looks, it is absolutely fabulously delicious!!!!
I guess i like this more than Mo-Hing-Kah, but it doesn't matter, both rocks!
I had 3 helpings, would love to have more.. but then i had other plans!
Celebrated mom's birthday at Shogun, while it was satisfying, it wasn't terribly good, i like the sushi part though, i love sushi, anyone got good sushi buffet which is affordable? we should go.
Yea, the desserts weren't so good. Well, Shogun is just convenient, that's all, but i guess if go with friends, it'd be funner, anyone wanna go?
Then walked in 1u a lil, at the exhibition area got like christmas-y stuff! Like this Fully chocolate made Bunny!! But Mom said it's hollow inside, can get tiny choco animals coated too! (Lazy to rotate the pic and upload again, just make do la huh)
Then got this not so Lil Drummer Boy (?) Quite a sight, then got these bunch of like orchestra kids came out, mostly Lala girls and Lala boys,
underage some more, sigh.
But it was cool, i like the semi-crowded malls, nice to walk and see all sorts of people!
Last but not least,
Quote Keren:
Yo momma's so fat that when she sat next to everyone in class.

Fairy Tales and Castles
Are we jaded?
Are we sluggishly going through with life?
What happened to the dreams we used to have as kids?
Where are they now?
How about saving the world?
How about following Him to the end of the earth?
What about that becoming a hero?
Having a bunch of kids to make up a football team?
The perfect family you always wanted?
Fly around the world?
Help the needy?
Is it because it was so childish? Now that we have BIG responsibilities, we are more in tune with REALITY, and we have to put our dreams behind?
Or
Are we just deviating from those dreams further and further and justifying by saying we don't want them anymore? By embracing what comes may?
Life is a drag, only if you choose to drag it.

He's not even trying..
Finally!!
GO GO GO
http://noteventrying.blogspot.com/
Apart from that
been studying a lil, gaming a lil, life's alright =)
Met old friends today at a camp. good time!
Few things i learned from the movie Enchanted (Spoilers may be ahead!):
1. Your true love can change to be someone else when you stay with that someone for a couple of days.
2. All stepmothers are stereotyped to be evil.
3. Prince charming is an idiot (there, go for handsome people some more la, haiyo, girls ah)
4. Curtains and floormats can be made into nice clothings.
5. When cartoon characters from disney come to life, it is ridiculous. (hint: cosplay)
Overall, fun show to watch to kill brain cells, songs catchy though, and the small girl cute in her role.
Sweeney Todd, Prince Caspian, The Dark Knight, Iron Man, CJ7! Come 2008! Year of the movies!

Blue Eyes
Totally.
Look, when things come our way, we tend to embrace it and then somehow mould it into our "destiny".
IF God made us to be more than conquerors, why aren't we conquering?
It's a disease i tell you, you may wanna argue, but it's true.
A.W. Tozer puts it nicely, allow me to paraphrase from Chapter 5 of Pursuit of God:
With the age full of automation, we tend to have shortcuts in life and comforts never known before, we therefore apply the same principles in our spiritual life, we want fast transactions, unlike prophets of old, unlike King David where he would wrestle day and night and moan just to get God's attention, now all we want is fast, spending lil time in prayer and quiet time hoping to compensate what is lacking in our spiritual walk.
We go to meetings after meetings, sermons after sermons to feel "alive" in God and we feel good bout it, but in the end always dead inside, always withering away.
He wrote that like eons ago man, and it still reigns true, with passage of time comes better gospel messages, better worship, all futile, all meaningless, swept away by the winds, scattered into dust, if David in the olden days wrote that God desired not sacrifices and external things, then why now are we falling prey to it again?
Think about it, when you fail exams and people ask you to pursue something you dislike, are you just doing it because it's safe? is it ever in God's plan?
To heck with social norms, if ever we are normal, then we wouldn't be any different from this world.
To those who are going to study overseas, don't succumb to temptations, don't let things take charge, through God take charge!
Let God rule! Don't be a wimp!

D i s a r r a y
"Ah Lian is a pejorative term commonly given to a certain group of young Chinese girls in Southeast Asia, especially Singapore and Malaysia. These Chinese girls, whose age ranging from their adolescent years to late 20s, usually centralised in the busier and more developed cities in the region. They are regarded as bimbos, and are stereotyped as anti-intellectual, superficial, materialistic, and shallow. Ah Lians are commonly stereotyped as having hair dyed in gaudy and bright colours, and attired in fashion mimicking hip-hop culture, although how much of this is true is debatable. Since their male counterpart is the Ah Beng, Ah Lians are also thought of as being excessively flashy and show-offs.
The Ah Lian "culture" is especially prevalent in the secular Chinese educational system schools, typified by their frequent use of vulgarities and appearance in cliques (joined by their male counter parts Ah Bengs).
Ah Lians commonly speak in a kind of hybrid mix of Singlish or Manglish and Chinese, or Chinese-related dialects. It is also common for the grammar from these dialects to cross over English usage, creating English phrases with Chinese grammar."
AND"
Ah Beng is a term commonly given to a member of a group of young Chinese men in Southeast Asia, particularly Singapore and Malaysia. These Chinese men, whose age ranging from their early teens to late 20s, usually centralise in the busier and more developed cities in the region, but are usually seen as originating from smaller or more rural towns. Ah bengs typically speak local slang, which is Hokkien or Cantonese mixed with English and Malay, such as Manglish or Singlish. They are often stereotypically portrayed to be anti-intellectual, superficial and materialistic and shallow. These values often lead to a lack of culture or indulgence in criminal activity or being involved in brawling or arguing out of disagreements with other people. Ah bengs are also sometimes associated with extensively-modified or zhng-ed cars, [1] and are stereotypically seen as being excessively flashy and show-offs. Ah Beng commonly are seen in gaudy patterned shirts, loafers without socks, gold jade rings and gold often counterfeit Rolexes .
The term 'Ah Beng' is also sometimes used to describe young Chinese men in Southeast Asia who cannot speak fluent English and/or have graduated from the secular Chinese education system of the region.
In Malaysia, the term 'Ah Beng' usually refers to males who have unusual styles and tastes. And the term 'lala-zai' refers to males involved in stereotypical gangster activity or fashion such as the dyeing of hair."

All Black
what color top would you wear to match it?
Almost any color, mom always say: anything goes with black.
I guess same goes to the world, world drowned in black, anything done in it seems to fit, killing, stealing, mocking, lying, hitting, raping, cursing..... all is justified one way or another.
BSF said in this world that is so dark in the background, we soldiers of Christ should shine even more to pierce through the darkness.
Trivial things shouldn't matter anymore people, why should it? in the bigger picture the Artist is painting, what is it to you that a speck of dust should stain it a lil?
Take heart, that by year end, we be where we are because the Artist painted us there
in the world that is all black, in the place where sins are justified, shouldn't we shine?
Worst part is, we are all capable of committing things we condemn and things we find despicable.
Judge not or be judged!

_Shift
it only serves to signify that the end of sem is coming (a big welcome to that) and also the start of finals prep.
As this sem approaching to its doom/end, a couple of things ran through my mind, people are going to leave,
i had once again successfully exclude God in this sem, which is quite depressing when you think about the days when the fire of God was so evident.
Chatted with a friend lately, came to mind that i should really really start working hard on stuff.
Had a bath, then forcing a smile on your face seems to make things better =)

Grave Words
would you attend my funeral? Would you give me a nice eulogy?
Anyway sample eulogy woukd be from me, that is if i wrote it before i die because i knew i would die so that someone would find it after i die and then took it out to read the instructions saying i want it to be read after i die in the funeral where i did not die:
"Lordson was a VERY (Stress this word) good man and a kind hearted soul. He was handsome and attractive, everyone said so, and now he is gone. He is in a better place, but his presence here when he was alive made the world feel better, girls had a purpose, guys were jealous, and time were great! We mourn the loss of this SUPER NICE person, and we know all the hurtful things you people said to him can never be taken back, serves you right. And all the girls that rejected him will now know how much of a saint he was, IN YA FACE. Lastly he like to mention to his good friend Keren: hahahaha, sigh, still short ler you, fat hopes for getting a chick."
I like to see you top that eulogy!

Games
easy!
Well:
1. David recorded one of the first few headshots in history by pwn-ning Goliath in the head with a shot from a sling.
2. Moral ambiguity happens all the time in bible stories, so that's what bunch of other games does to us too.
3. We are always fighting against evil, so we do that in games too.
4. We need game manuals to survive, and the bible does provide answers for us when we get into trouble in life.
5. Good pc games need high end pcs to run, therefore in the same way, we need to have a really high end relationship with God to further level up ourselves and run the race.
6. Cheating always let us win in the end, but it does us no good in terms of skills nor satisfaction, so we can't cheat with God and gain a shortcut and we end up in hell.
7. We need to reload when we run out of ammo; we always need the Word to boost us spiritually to fight back evil.
8. When we make a wrong move, we game over, but we have save points or retry to rectify our mistake. Sometimes in life, God allows second chance for us to make things right.
9. Investing time in games so we can overcome its difficulty is like we must invest time in God so we can be strong in faith.
10. We equip all sort of items for our in game character to win. We only need God's full proof armor - shield of faith, sword of truth, helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness and belt of truth and we are set to advance on our spiritual journey with God as our Big Boss!
So there you go!
hehehehe

I wonder..
not only that, i may overheard someone said that i can't play or sing
haha, if i'm so secure in God, why does that statement haunt me?
Audition haunting me la, oh why oh why i didn't play a song i've played a thousand times?
darn it.

Tell tales
How did i fare? In my opinion i did quite horribly
after much reflection is because:
- I wasn't given the talent to sing
- Stage fright
- I picked the wrong songs
- Should have been confident with my own song
Prior to auditions, me and my fellow audition-ee prayed behind stage, and we prayed that we'll praise God no matter what
So here i am praising God for giving me the opportunity to play and sing for His glory, and it doesn't matter if i did not make it and i wasn't as good as others, but praise God for He has allowed me to play with very good friends and have fun!
Below are couple of pics i thought was cool:

Explanatio...to heck with it!
Arsenal did good hahahahahaah!!
Alright, been blogging less and less lately because i've been busy
its like i'm busy, but don't know why busy, yet feels like got something to do but i not doing anything, i also wondering, well well, assignments deadline coming soon, i'm sure i'll be BUSY real real soon.
Random Rantings:
Sometimes why do we owe people explanation?
People are hard to please.
Now i understand why people need a vacation.
Humans are evil!
And sometimes its hard to stay with them.
We need our own space sometimes.
Too much space alone and people say you cold and don't call you out anymore.
Too little space and you end up pleasing people more than enjoying their company.
I must learn how to say "no".
Prom audition coming, and i feel like backing out, no confidence, lazy to practice.
i can't sing for nuts
If only i could play Enya's songs, then can mumble and hum my way thru.
I need to start on assignments
I want to go back to my original purpose of joining psychology
losing the focus now
Maybe it's too much work?
Should i live a life just to make money and have a family?
or suffer to go where it ain't my comfort zone?
I should sleep!

Hot Cool Sunday
Started off a pretty warm Sunday as it always is, yea, felt quite awake for sermon, but don't know couldn't get much out of it, hmm...
Then slept in the afternoon, waking up to a headache!
Darn it! Then now kinda like raining, weather so funny, killing me..
i think i seek recognition too much, sometimes will use ways just to get what i want without arousing suspicion, aiya, got to stop watching shows like 24 and How i met your mother. teaching me too many bad stuff =p
But i think i really need to be secure in God.
Arsenal Vs. Liverpool later!
Woots!
-"Previously on battlestar galactica..." -Cartman, South Park while on screen it says "Previously on South Park."-

Make Way For Queen Victoria!
Hahahaha, i mean bow down before thy Queen!!
Ok, i dedicate this post to Victoria (well, due to a certain death threat....)
That's her on the left and that's me on the right JUST in case you didn't know.
That was taken in CF camp during some Hawaiian theme night. Good clean fun!
alright, well, she is a girl, erm, she has long hair, a nose, a pair of eyes, hands, feet... okok.
I mean, Vic was one of the few people i met in CF when i first started uni, i think i came to know her properly during Christmas in my uni. That's when we practiced for some presentation, and i was my usual self playing a fool and she would ask me to get serious (in a nice way=)
then somehow followed her to church in Ipoh, yeap that's where she hails from. And i guess that's where our friendship grew. God sent an erm, i was about to say angel, but a bit too cliche, lets replace it with God sent a fantastic sister (or brother, depends on how you look at it) to aid me in my transition in uni. She had good patience, i guess most girls don't, yes! i'm pointing at you TGCM's bratty sister! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Even though we known close to year, it felt like we known each other for a long time, suffice to say i'm prepared to attend your wedding and be your kid's godfather! ( yes, i still scheming to use kids as my muscles and dominate the world MUAHAHAHA)
I don't simply go to people's wedding ok? i invite myself to people's wedding whom i can bear with, consider it a privilege that i self-invite myself to YOUR wedding.
Right back to the Queen, LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!
Must recite that ok, if not heads will roll, almost literally.
So here i am, friendship still going on, i don't have many girl friends, yea not girlfriends mind you.
And she is the rare few, and i appreciate her a lot. sometimes God is overly kind to a person like me that i should receive such grace in a form of a friend.
Common grounds i have with her:
- she is 21! so am i! Though i am older! hahaha
- she's from perak, so is my mom! So i can't say anything bad about her, or i would indirectly say it about my mom too.
- she's musically inclined! so am i (?), er, ok maybe not.
- she's pretty, and i'm handsome, no doubt bout that!
-she's a gamer, and no doubt i am one too! dark brotherhood! mgs! gta! cloud! sephiroth! raiden! snake! big boss! 47!
Not so common grounds with her:
-she's attached, i'm still waiting for my one to show up (God, please?)
- she got own car, i'm still leeching of mom's car.
- she likes weird movies (like that jay chou piano crap!), i pick stephen chau anytime!
- she got more friends than me, all i have is keren, oh wait, keren isn't my friend! hahahahahaha
when all is said and done, i don't think i will lose a friend like her, i'd be a fool, and it would probably be offending God!
Happy now?
hehe....

There is free lunch (and dinner) in this world!
Yeap! Had my final mid-term paper at 8 am!! the bane of having to wake up that early for a paper is unimaginable!
Yea, paper wasn't too hard (compared with another paper i took...) but it was still tough nonetheless.. Brain don't function as well in the morning, sigh!
then had to help out at a freshmen lunch held by the uni for freshies! (a few friends and i lost a bet to our grad tutor, that's why)
It wasn't half bad, we wore robes! Kinda large, and everyone gotta wear it, so we kinda made fun and said it was some harry potter school, it really does.
We were ushers, well, it was a boring job, but thank God for good company! ha! i guess the highlight was really really really about the glorious food prepared! Deprived of MY freshmen lunch, took this chance to take back what i should have gotten a year ago!
Had lamb, chicken and more chicken, a bunch of meat i couldn't identify, mee, rice, cake with some sauce, tofu, oh sweet food!!
Ate till i was satisfied.
at night, a very good friend and brother took some of us to Carl's Jr.! I wouldn't even think of going there because of it's pricing! but since it's free (thanks dude!), i just went anyway despite the scrumptious lunch i had earlier in the day! Burger was good, hmm, sat there awhile and talked, hmmm, was so full, felt like i could just sleep and sleep after that, which i didn't, came back to enjoy more pleasures of life, ah...
life is good! Praise God!
Today, had a very very good rest, just so to prepare for the coming week.
Had a new PBC member in church today!!
Liang and Li's Lil brat Zechariah!
Whoo-hoo!

An Update From ...
Yea, just got off msn with him, managed to chat a bit here and there before he left.
He not yet equipped with internet access yet, he was using the lab's comp to communicate with me.
He is doing fine, well and dandy, he said the moment he landed there, that day was the worst day. But he'll blog about it soon.
Just in case you didn't know, he got a blog, just not really up and running
its http://noteventrying.blogspot.com/
So, he is doing great, in fact he mentioned he went to pubs and student nightclubs hahahaha
Erm, well, i should omit these facts, but knowing Keren he would want me to haha,
Anyway he said the girls there are super hot, and Daniel is gay, and the girls he know got bf so thats a turn off.
Ok, he didn't exactly say it in such a polite way, please feel free to insert any high-level profanity into that sentence. Ok i omitted a lot of stuff la, guess you'll just have to tune in to his blog to find out.
He did say a couple of nice things though:
He said he really missed malaysia and that he'll never kutuk malaysia's weather ever again.
He also said Hello to everyone he knows and take care.
He'll meet us online soon.
Well, glad he is safe and sound and that life is moving on for him, haha, so cool, i really wanna go visit him, should be fun, just hope he keeps his pants on and all time, ain't not the time to make no babies!
Prayer
somehow it just fits in.
Never underestimate power of prayer!!!
Somehow we always don't utilize prayer enough.
But it is one of the greatest privileges given by God.
Somehow just felt the need to remind you people.

Major Minor
Got one more mid-term paper to go, two assignments due this month. Mood to do any work is non-existent!
Been fussing over running the experiment for one of my classes, waited for an hour plus for the lecturer, wasn't a total waste of time, talked to one of the tutors there, and she is a gamer! Gamer chick! woots!
Rare! Plus she plays God of War 2 and those kick ass games!
Not lovey dovey games like Harvest Moon! (i think so)
She plays okami too! wow!
It'll be a bonus point if my future gf is a gamer hehehe, at least when i game during dates she won't mind! muahahahahahaa
on another hand, i really must thank and be annoyed at my dad for giving me my name, now i have the urge to name my son and daughter some kick ass name, if not i'll feel like an idiot!
Lets see,
oh yea, remember mortal kombat?
Yea apparently someone wanted to name her kid Liu Kang.
I choose Sub-Zero! Ha!!
Sub-Zero is so cool.
OK la, my son is called Sub-Zero for now.
Daughter maybe will be Aroma Rosemary Pink Daisy.
Ha! i'll show you, dad!

Sleep Deprivation
Chuck and Larry & Hairspray!
While both are equally entertaining, Hairspray won hands down!!!
So cool,
Things I've learned from the two movies:
- Gay people faced lotsa discrimination
- therefore we should be more considerate towards them even if we don't condone to their act
- when one goes to jail, all goes to jail, literally.
- Hairspray is out of fashion.
-Hairspray has made Amanda Bynes one of the hot cute girl in my list!!
- She's hot! woots!
- The show made me wanna dance in the cinema
- Travolta was awesome!!
- Christopher Walken was LEGENDARY!
Had only 2 hours plus sleep this morning, survived the day.
Tap on my shoulder in the lrt, turned around and this beautiful lady friend greeted me whom i have not seen for a long time. It is nice to be remembered!

Legen...wait for it..
Spent the whole darn night finishing one 1000 words assignment! That also am not sure whether it was accurately answered or not, deprived of sleep, piles of things to be studied, geeking in front of the monitor, worried about mid-terms, anticipating holidays, procrastinating work where deadline is far away....
ahh..
bliss of a uni student's life.

101th Post
...still blur on my sem subjects and what to do.
...still amazed by how much i've grown the past year in HELP.
...still amazed God pulled me back even when i chose to distant myself.
...am sad people close to me are leaving to further their studies.
...am happy people close to me are leaving to further their studies.
...am blessed with people God sent to me in uni.
...miss my friends who are currently overseas.
...am happy recent earthquakes didn't kill Naresh.
...need to realign my focus towards God.
It never ceased to amaze me that God has been so evident in my life, even in times when you just wanna shove Him away,
Even at times like these, times of departures and times where most people suffer, God is working, and though right now i have blurred myself from seeing God clearly. God still works wonderfully.
I guess when you turn 21, perspectives change and life moves faster on you, with responsibilities pouring on you, when life's big decisions are just waiting for you to come hither.
But i'm really glad for people who made a difference in my life. I can't name them all for it would take days just to pen them down on a book.
But suffice to say, that i thank God for each and every one of my friends.
Christian or non Christian, no matter what race you are..
to quote Stephen Colbert, "I don't see colors, because i'm color blind." =)
Sometimes you try so hard to cater to everyone but you just can't.
It's a struggle.
I know some of you probably have some faults with me and i haven't been nice to some of you. But chill, i'll get around to amend that soon enough!
Change is constant. I'll be around.

I Am Cow!!!
Enjoy, it's only 2 minutes long =))
I am Cow, hear me moo
I weigh twice as much as you
And I look good on the barbecue
Yogurt, curd, cream cheese and butter's
Made from liquid from my udders
I am Cow, I am Cow, Hear me moo (moo)
I am Cow, eating grass
Methane gas comes out my ass
And out my muzzle when I belch
Oh, the ozone layer is thinner
From the outcome of my dinner
I am Cow, I am Cow, I've got gas
I am Cow, here I stand
Far and wide upon this land
And I am living everywhere
From B.C. to Newfoundland
You can squeeze my teats by hand
I am Cow, I am Cow, I am Cow
I am Cow, I am Cow, I am Cow

Season Of..
Well as much as some one would say me being an agony aunt, i find myself not being able to give good advice or even being a good listener, can't even give sound advice to myself, ha!
This sem am attending counseling class, which talks about stuff which can be helpful. Am looking forward every week to class, seems interesting and one of the few lecturers that don't put me to sleep!
My help comes from the Lord, but when people ask me for help, must really seriously be careful in words, wait, i think i just repeated myself, ah, the bane of blogging past midnight..

Happy Independence Day Malaysia!
Indeed, 50 years is a long way from the first independence day, as much as some of us dislike the way things are run, despite the fact that this country has its fair share of shortcomings, it is still home.
I bet the people overseas can testify to it that Malaysia is still one of the best place to be at.
It's darn sad that Malaysians don't see the true significance of this day, it's even more sad they don't care what is the theme this year or even bother to celebrate with a true heart.
God has given us so much, in this country where we are placed, we should be happy that we are playing a big role in God's ultimate plan for this country.
In January, I already sensed that God is gonna move BIG this year, as He always has been. And indeed God did not disappoint, I have seen so many things happening, even through myself, i have come a long way from being a mere sinner to a repentant one actively seeking God's will.
My friends has taught me a lot too this year, and i know greater things are coming, as Steven Curtis Chapman write in his song, we come with Great Expectations.
Expect more from God, He has just begun His mighty work.
Don't lose out, don't be content to just sit and wait till you die and go heaven.
I attended the night NECF prayer conference for the past 2 nights, and it was a blessing. It was sad that people don't come and attend to pray and hear about the word from God, but it's alright, the people that came made a difference and that was what counts.
I hope to live another 50 more years to see the 100th independence day of Malaysia!
Then when i die people will quote me of this:
"When i realized how short my time was on earth, it struck me that the things i have been pursuing i could not take with me, and the only thing that mattered was what i did on earth for Christ Jesus, and so begun the life of God using me beyond what i can do and what He wants me to do. And here i am at the end of my life, hoping to do even more before i meet Jesus."
yeap, this will be my final speech before i die!
Happy Merdeka Malaysia!
Praise God for great things He hath done and greater things to come! Amen!

Come, Fly With Me.
First person! Eugene Yoong! Superb friend though we argue a lot and insult each other a lot, but it's just the way we function to keep our friendship alive hehe
2nd person! Kevin! hahaha, Alias fan! He happy ler, in New York now enjoying, must go kacau him for updates!
Last but not least, Wei Soon!! Woot! such a blessing he has been and i hope he was happy enough we turned up so early in the morning to see him off though not his first time leaving for Russia hahaha....
But yea, we all did 3 things for them
1)We took photo
2) go McD's
3) We prayed our special prayer for each one of them!
All is done and hope to see them soon, on earth that is.

Men
Unfair!
As much as a visual being we are, giving extra attention to pretty girls is just shallow!
C'mon men, we're better than that!
(plus... pretty girls usually are heartbreakers!)

Giving is better?
give? or don't give?
Argument 1:
You give because Jesus gave to the needy as well, and you know you can help that person.
Argument 2:
You don't give, because the beggar has all limbs attached and the bible said that if you have hands and don't work you don't eat. Plus it could be a syndicate, like a whole organization sending beggars out to ask for money but the money will not go into their pockets but the organization, you at most buy them food.
Argument 3:
You give ANYWAY even if you think theres a syndicate out there because you did your part and no one can find fault with you no matter what.
I personally feel that i should give it via a proper christian organization and then it will be channeled properly, hmm, still...

Big 5
Top 5 best things about Golden Sands:
1. The toilets are squatting kind
2. Bed super duper super crazy gila comfy -Best sleep so far this year.
3. Workers rather friendly
4. The sound of crashing waves
5. A bell to call people when food is served
Top 5 worst things about Golden Sands:
1. toilet paper ran out
2. food were mostly meat and eggs (daniel fast still going on =( )
3. Dorm so small that what everyone was doing was visible, even those who walk around with only underwear on...
4. girls' dorm was nearer to the hall...
5. no mamak nearby
Top 5 things i learned during sessions:
1. the bible can be seen as a progression, i mean, it builds up to something and then has a point, darn, can't explain well, but it was cool
2. Gen 12:3, we must bless others to be blessed.
3. we all bear the same fruit because we come from the same vine, and apart from God we can do nothing, only when we remain in him he shall enable and empower us.
4.we make the choices, and we must bear the consequences, we should choose the better portion, though the other one can be worked out for the glory of God too.
5.when Jesus was tempted, the 3 temptations:we should not do what God did not ask us to do, everything has timing to it, we should do it in progression and wait on God.
Top 5 regrets about CF camp:
1. forgot to bring belt, so pants were super loose, hope no one saw anything they shouldn't..
2. didn't jam music properly with drummerboy
3. didn't had depressed late night bedtime talks with Justin enough
4. no girl stumbled me
5. hearing speaker's lame jokes

Post Camp Syndrome
Had some really good moments
teaching was great
The bonding with people was superb
I guess the best part was the sleep, super comfy!
Speaker was cool too, different yet deep, lame yet inspiring.
Learned much, i bet Justin would agree.
Well, i guess if i were to post a full report on Cf camp, it would take up lots of time.. but rest assured, i really had a great time, in an unconventional sense, the enjoyment derived from different things, ranging from the rain to the looks on people's face. Refreshing and profound.
Well i think best i put some highlights and some pics:
-DrummerBoy Isaac Ng provided the best 'blur' moment in camp, example:
Jamie:"So, do you have a white shirt?"
Isaac:"No, i don't"
Jamie:"Weren't you wearing it this morning during worship?"
Isaac:"Yes."
-Dancing during Hawaiian Night, tiring, practices were long! But i guess it was well worth the effort =))
-my angel in the angel/mortal game asked people to talk to me, tuck me in during sleep, sing lullaby and most importantly mini cereal in mini boxes for me most everyday!
-my date for Hawaiian night was sporting
-the stuff i learned from sessions was "WOW"
and many more... guess i can't think much right now, tiring day, it's 1 am.
oops, can't upload pics, hmm, next time then!

Take a Step
here it is:
Mikaela: This car's a pretty good driver.
Sam 'Spike' Witwicky: Yeah.
[looks at the empty driver's seat]
Sam 'Spike' Witwicky: Why don't you go sit on that seat there?
Mikaela: I'm not gonna sit on that seat. He's driving.
Sam 'Spike' Witwicky: Yeah. You're right. You know, maybe you should sit on my lap.
Mikaela: Why?
Sam 'Spike' Witwicky: Well, I have the only seat belt here. Safety first.
[Mikaela pauses]
Mikaela: Yeah. Right.
[Mikaela moves from the back seat to where Sam is sitting]
Sam 'Spike' Witwicky: See? That's better.
Mikaela: You know, that seat belt thing was a pretty smooth move.
Sam 'Spike' Witwicky: Thank you.
Oops, no no, this is not the one, though i thought it was a pretty cool line too, must try it one day..
This is the one:
Sam 'Spike' Witwicky: [to Mikaela when she doesn't want to get back in Bumblebee] Fifty years from now, when you're looking back at your life, don't you want to be able to say you had the guts to get in the car?
Life is too short to not live, so why don't you take a step of faith and go wherever God leads? Even if it may seem like something stupid and out of your plans, but give it a try, it may lead someplace better.
Oh Where Oh Where could my...
She shares the same surname as me!
Well, her surname is 'Gan', and i am 'Yen', but the mandarin word is the same, you see, 'Gan' is Hokkien while 'Yen' is mandarin.
So basically when we met each other up after high school in HELP again, we called each other brother and sister, she's super nice, she flying off, all the best to her!

BK Quiz
Went there early in the morning, in my half sleepy state met up with teachers and some friends from camps i attended years ago!
Kinda cool, Was invited by Nie Nie to be an invigilator for the written quiz, quite cool, just two years ago i was sitting there doing the paper, now am invigilating, how time flies
Apart from that, after marking the quizzes, i mean recording down the marks, went to eat! they actually prepared food for teachers and invigilators, so got a free meal, which was fine and dandy.
Then the SPM oral quiz started, was ok ler, nothing great, felt short and i was super sleepy at that time.
Then the whole usual thing about giving out prizes and going A & W for meals, went for youth, dinner then went home, a couple of hours later fell asleep, first time in a very long time i slept this early.
Good experience, but time do fly that fast, so fast i'm done with first year in my degree program, how fast some of my friends left or leaving to elsewhere for studies.
This Wed morning also a good friend and 'sister' leaving.
Help CF Camp coming soon too!
Fasting period officially reached its 2nd week! Still surviving!

noooooo
haha
i do it for the sake of your entertainment la huh, MATT THANKS!
Before that, the week was fine, quite busy though, and caine left, sigh sigh and i missed sending off!! argh!
Need my own car, sigh, well, if i got spare cash i be sure to pay you a visit! in the meantime bear with it brother, i'm praying for you.
DanielO is back, sigh, hahaha, kidding, got one more person for me to hang out with is always a good thing, speaking of which we went to this building to send Dan's laptop for repairs, then we started going from the top to bottom floor using the elevator, just to see whats on each floor, there is a Mattel toy production office there! When we reached the ground floor, a security lady asked us what were we searching for, we just told her we were curious and looked around, knowing how dumbass and stupid we look, guess she knew we were telling the truth =))
Then went BSF, stupidly i mistakenly thought to meet a friend at the lrt station at 5 30 pm instead of 6 30 pm, spent 1 hour observing the people, saw about 4 friends oh which 3 ignored me to my face and 1 happily talked to me!
Then we asked each other if we had gfs, obviously both of us are single, and we thought harder, our form 6 circle of friends, all of us are single!! then we sighed together inn despair, and he said, "never mind! We throw a bachelor party!" so totally agreed with him!
Then went BSF via lrt and monorail, very interesting, a lot of things to see, quite fun! Bukit Bintang super happening on a weekday, hey people, lets go there hang out one day (i mean it, let's do it soon, before keren goes off)
BSF was cool, kinda confusing in some parts, but should be ok now! Had supper with Vic and James, then home!
OK now i'll bother to DO the tag...
1. The tag victim has to come up with 8 different points about his/her perfect lover.
Disclaimer: i simply doing out of fun, subject to change without prior notice, plus my one quite decent one, so don't expect stupid answers =)
8 points ah for the girl i like?
1. Godly! hahaha, if she doesn't have God in her heart, sure something wrong!! plus she might not be too happy when i serve God, so cannot, choose between girl and God, God first la! So godly is good, very important!
2. other than godly, rest mostly bonuses, such as can the girl must be accepted by my S.A.D. members!! well since we are single and desperate, i guess any girl also will be accepted right? haha, nah, i want at least Chan to be happy for me and accept the girl la..
3. the girl must be er.. simple, i mean she must be willing walk or take public transport and endure mamaks when we go out! hahaha, why? Expensive la, high maintenance girl not good to my wallet, of course when i can i will do what i can to pamper, but most of the time, simple and decent!
4. willing to elope! then can go someplace far get married quietly without the hustle and bustle of preparation, save money and can be ridiculously romantic too haha! i know i lari topic already... just kidding about the elope part, or am i?
5. beautiful!! i mean to me la, not like beautiful to everyone, if she is, then good la, but as long as i think she is beautiful then its all good for me
6. can cook! home cook food rocks! man, fasting... getting hungry now...well, as i said all bonuses la, but if can cook would be a super extra point! bake also extra one more point!! oh, must be willing to cook also.
7. this is hard la, how to think of more? i try.. think hard man think hard! sporting! i think with all the crazy things we do and talk about, the girl must be also or at least can be on the same page as me, then can click, and do the stuff together and forge good memories
8. must be accepted by my mom!!! i told my mom before, if the girl i like my mom don't like i straight away will not go for her or dump her!! so my mom is the key!! i don't care! hahaha!!
ok, i know i talk a lot of crap in this tag haha, disappointed matthew?!? no fun tagging me right?
haha anyone wanna bother doing it just copy paste the rules!!
it's 1 19 am, still....no...
wedding invitations,
disappointed..

Wo Ai Ni
Everywhere i turn to (blog-wise), i read about relationship problems, i read about how this girl wants this guy and can't have him or vice versa. I overhear in the radio about guy trying to court girl but failed miserably, i hear people breaking up.
Why does this persist? Why do we always get ourself entangled in this matter? We can't go on without love is it? without a companion? Paul said if possible remain single so that we can wholly serve the Lord, but how many of us wants that? We hear of people wanting to do missions but wants a wife to accompany, why do we strive for the other half?
I guess what puzzles me is that it could be simple yet because of us, it has turned out to be a seriously long complex issue.
Couldn't i just walk up to a girl and say, "I love you." and be done with it? Get married? why the long arduous process of courting and trying to gain the girl's attention only to be heartbroken? If only God would give us the EVE we all need, then life would be simpler =))
Oh well, still, i'm just saying my thoughts, not against anything =p
I still want an invitation to YOUR wedding, yes, if you read this, unfortunately you have now the obligation to invite me to your wedding!
-We break up
It’s something that we do now
Everyone has got to do it sometime
It’s okay, let it go
Get out there and find someone-

2 days and counting!
What do i think of it?
HUNGRY!!
I on a full vege only meal diet, and yet i constantly feel hungry, i mean i eat a lot of vege man, still hungry, can never truly understand vegetarians, enlighten me if you're one!
All in all, it's a good time, God has truly somehow shown Himself to me a bit more in the past 2 days, the lack of bondage due to MSN has been beneficial, not that i did anything super spiritual, but i guess that it feels....free.
Went for BSF today, kinda cool, met a couple of faces i haven't seen in a long time =)
hehe, so kinda good
also refreshing to email people hehe, long time didn't really do it, so here's the chance!
Yea! till next post! (real soon, since nothing much to do hehe)

So this year, to up a notch, to be more serious! Simon and I decided to do a Daniel (Bible Character) fast and MSN Messenger fast!!
So basically since i'm already on a vege diet, i will opt to take away the rice i go along with vege and only drink water..and of course Messenger, without it, i'm totally, er, almost well, free?
So i'm relying on emails and text messaging(Sms), yea, not fasting internet, because need it for important stuff, but no messenger! So i'm VERY free, find me, or text me.. ok that sounded desperate, but i am!

P.o.V
Nesh's argument:
God created the one and only DNA specific girl for you to marry in this life. And He will show the girl to you in due time.
My argument:
You get to pick anyone you wanna marry but have to commit the relationship to God and move from there if God didn't say no.
I know, i'm also quite annoyed at myself for always talking bout girls girls and girls..
on another note, er, there is no other note...

If Christmas, isn't Christmas, till it happens in your heart, and my heart is happening with Christmas, then why not celebrate it now???
If we are the reason, then all the more Christmas can be celebrated right now!
And after that we can all can have boxing day!
Put on your boxing gloves my fellow mates! Boxing is around the corner too!
So Jingle those bells!
bring mistletoe everywhere!
Winter wonderland!
Frozen Throne!
Merry Christmas to you, you and you, and all my friends out there!
Be merry and let us enjoy Christmas wherever we are! HoHoHo!!
