Giving is better?

Say that a beggar comes up to you and ask for money...

give? or don't give?

Argument 1:
You give because Jesus gave to the needy as well, and you know you can help that person.

Argument 2:
You don't give, because the beggar has all limbs attached and the bible said that if you have hands and don't work you don't eat. Plus it could be a syndicate, like a whole organization sending beggars out to ask for money but the money will not go into their pockets but the organization, you at most buy them food.

Argument 3:
You give ANYWAY even if you think theres a syndicate out there because you did your part and no one can find fault with you no matter what.

I personally feel that i should give it via a proper christian organization and then it will be channeled properly, hmm, still...

yo lordson! =)

personally, i try not to give money to beggars.. cos they might use it to buy hashish, marijuana, cocaine, alcohol or other harmful substances.

but when i can, i buy a bun or two and share them with the beggar. once or twice, i had time to sit and eat with him and chatted to find out his story. quite sad one la usually.

it's not much, but i hope that the little sustenance and friendship that i offered them for that short time could show them the love of Christ. =)
